Our Vision

Taban is a registered charity (CIO). Our organisation was founded by a group of Anglican churches, with initial funding from the Diocese of Manchester and private donors. Our primary focus is to continue and expand the work of these churches in supporting Farsi-speaking asylum seekers and refugees. Today, we work in close partnership with the churches and also with the Farsi community and with other agencies to serve our clients better. Our work is inclusive - we make no distinction between clients of all faiths or none.  We are inspired by the imperative to provide care and practical support to the stranger and non-native in our midst, a value we take from Christianity and which is shared by our partners and by many different traditions.

Taban Charity, is dedicated to supporting the Farsi-speaking migrant community in the UK. We are a non-governmental and non-religious entity with no political affiliations. Our goal is to assist Farsi-speaking migrants in achieving success in their new home.

The Farsi word "Taban" translates to "shining." It represents the warm and illuminating rays of the sun and is often used to describe individuals who bring light and positivity into others' lives, reflecting what we're about.  The name "Taban" was suggested by one of our clients.

سازمان ما، خیریه تابان، به حمایت از جامعه مهاجر فارسی‌زبان در بریتانیا اختصاص دارد. تابان نهادی غیردولتی و غیرمذهبی ست که وابستگی سیاسی ندارد. هدف ما کمک به مهاجران فارسی‌زبان در دستیابی به موفقیت در خانه جدیدشان در انگلستان است 
واژه فارسی " تابان" به معنی " درخشان " یادآور نور گرم و روشن خورشید است و اغلب برای توصیف افرادی که نور و مثبت نگری را به زندگی دیگران می‌آورند، استفاده می‌شود و بازتابی ست از آنچه ما هستیم. نام " تابان " پیشنهاد یکی از مراجعین مان بود
تابان، موسسه خیریه ثبت ‌شده است. سازمان ما توسط گروهی از کلیساهای انگلیکن با بودجه اولیه از اسقف‌نشین منچستر و خیرین خصوصی تاسیس شد. تمرکز اصلی ما ادامه کار این کلیساها در حمایت از پناهجویان و پناهندگان فارسی‌زبان است. تا به امروز، در هم‌کاری نزدیک با کلیساها، جامعه فارسی زبان و سایر نهادها برای خدمت بهتر به مراجعین خود مشغول به کاریم. کار ما همه پذیرست - هیچ تفاوتی بین مراجعین با باورهای مختلف مذهبی و یا بدون مذهب قایل نیستیم - ما ضرورت ارائه مراقبت و حمایت عملی از تازه واردین و افراد غیر بومی در میان خود را الهام گرفته از ارزشهای مسیحیت میدانیم که حمایت کنندگان مان و دیگر سنن مختلف هم در آن  مشترکند
